by Fluffy977 » Mon Nov 14, 2011 8:22 am

Hello.
My name is Fluffy977
Here is how to install a custom map

First
You need a map to install
Find one online, or install the 1.7 map
[Download 1.7 Map]
Once downloaded unzip the world file you should be left with a folder.

Second
Windows
Spoiler:
Code: Select All Code
Hit the Windows Key + R to open up the Run program
Type in %appdata%/.minecraft and press OK

Mac
Spoiler:
Lion
Code: Select All Code
Since the Library is hidden in Lion
You have to take extra steps
Go to Finder
At the top, there should be a tab saying 'Go'
Click on that and press 'Go to Folder'
Type this in to the 'Go To Folder' prompt '~/Library'
Now proceed to the 'Application Support' folder located in the Library
Find a folder labeled Minecraft
Once you have found that folder, click on it

Snow Leopard
Code: Select All Code
Find the Library Folder
Go to the 'Application Support' folder located in the Library
Find a folder labeled Minecraft

Third
Go into the folder named 'Saves'
Copy and Paste the World Folder into that 'Saves' Folder

Enjoy Your New Custom Map!

May I ask what operating system you are using? You don't need the 'App Store' for this. Application Support has nothing to do with the 'App Store'.

Do you mind waiting until this weekend so I can make good one? I will try to do one sooner. But that depends.
