Kreatious means alot, to alot of people... It's a second home. It's an escape from real world problems like jobs, school or just the neighborhood bully. We've all met amazing people here and continue to meet more. It's become a international internet landmark for some of us. It's likely the only server that has stayed on our multiplayer menus. It brings families together and creates others.

It will be a shock for many because kreatious has continued to thrive through so much strife and conflict about some petty issues as well as significant issues. Most of the current players perhaps don't know of the split in 2011 or hardware upgrade when everyone had op. The few crashes that lasted a few days and we got a temp map to play around on. Yet it still continued survived.
Yes.. give it 6 months though. I hope... No no, I INSIST we continue to be wrong. 6 months or 10 yrs... We will survive.

I'm not saying that it isn't, because it is to a lot of people, including me for a good portion of the last 2-3 year. What I'm saying is that the our peak is over, it will not be a surprise to most of the community. And it's not like you're/we're (I don't really play, I just troll people and afk) going in the right direction regarding the problems that still persist from all that time ago. “All good things must come to an end.” - Geoffrey Chaucer

I think Kreatious will be around until Minecraft fades out. To be honest, it's been around a lot longer than I would have ever anticipated! As anyone who has moderated the server knows, it becomes a chore after a while. With little time to build for yourself, and constant interruptions from players, your buildings take a back seat, and the community takes the lead. But, such is the price of being a mod...to make sure every other player can enjoy wonderful buildings and ease of mind that the community is in check.
The reason I say all that, is because despite that fact, Zerg continues to log on frequently, after what, a half decade of being in charge?! It may not have 70+ players on at a time like it used to, but it has enough for the community to function. It's a unique server, and that's what will keep people coming, when the other ones close down.
