What to do with the 1.7 map?

It's.. almost time for the minecraft full release, when a new 1.10 map will be made and items from 1.8 transfer.

But, since the survival server has been downgraded (less RAM), there's now a need to lessen the burden of hosting the main world..

So.. I wanna set the main world to a read-only status, no mobs at all, no starvation damage, no breaking/placing blocks.. and unload the main world's nether.
Then I want to delete the block logs of the main world completely.
And post the world file on the forums.
